Man arrested after driving through snow in New York

A man who allegedly ran over pedestrians in New England on New Year’s Eve has been arrested and charged with vehicular manslaughter, police said.

Richard Scott Snow, 39, is scheduled to appear in court on Friday.

Snow was charged with careless driving, reckless endangerment, recklessly endangering another person and careless driving causing injury.

He was taken into custody after the crash near Brighton, Massachusetts.

Snow is from New Hampshire and was on his way home from a family gathering in Vermont, police spokeswoman Elizabeth Fong said.
