A “Snowman” fell from a snow bank near the border with the Palestinian territory of Gaza on Sunday, causing damage to a building in the northern West Bank.
The Palestinian health ministry said the man, who was hit by a car, suffered light injuries, but it was not immediately clear if he was seriously hurt.
A Palestinian man carries a dead body during an investigation into the death of a man from the village of Khumry, south of the southern Gaza Strip, on Saturday.
(Mahmoud Ibrahim/Reuters)The incident occurred in the area of Khummry, about 60 kilometers (35 miles) south of Gaza City, the Palestinian health agency said in a statement.
The dead man was identified as Ahmed Abu Khaled, 35, of the village.
The West Bank village is a popular place for Palestinians to gather, with many residents using it as a safe haven during the winter months.
The health ministry has also said that Palestinians are dying in a disproportionate number of Gaza-related injuries.
Last month, Israeli soldiers shot and killed a Palestinian in the village, killing his 10-year-old son, who later died of his injuries.
