The American Conservatives published an op-ed Jan. 8, 2018, on the issue of snow sports in the United States.
“I’d like to think the next president will see this and will make a real commitment to the sport,” the op-ad’s writer, Robert J. Stokes, writes.
“It’s a shame that the current president doesn’t seem to be able to make it a priority.”
The article also states that Snow Sports Centers are a key source of snow for winter sports and the sport is growing in popularity.
“Snow Sports Centers serve as a vital lifeline for snow sports fans who are searching for a safe and affordable way to watch their favorite sport,” said Scott G. Young, the editor of The American Conservatory of Snow Sports, in an email.
“We think it’s critical that these institutions continue to thrive.”
